Friendly: Iwobi reveals Super Eagles mission against Ghana

Alex Iwobi says the Super Eagles will go all out for a win in their friendly against the Black Stars of Ghana.
The two rivals will clash at the Grande Stade de Marrakech on Friday.
It will be first meeting between both teams since their 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs which the Ghanaians won.

Iwobi highlighted the importance of getting a favourable result against Otto Addo’s men.
“It’s a game against one of our rivals, a nation that is close to us, so we will give our hundred percent and try and to get a good result,” the Fulham star told the Super Eagles media.
Iwobi also reflected on the Super Eagles outing at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
“After the competition, we had to go back to our clubs because it was in the middle of the season. We didn’t have much time to reflect on the final defeat to Cote d’Ivoire,”he added.
“We want to continue with the form we showed at the AFCON and hopefully improve our performance.”
